Camp Springs’ very own Keith Neltner (Neltner Creative) recently teamed with Lexington film maker Blake Judd to direct a documentary on the late country music star Charlie Louvin . “Still Rattlin’ the Devil’s Cage” is a 45 minute film focusing on Louvin and his older brother Ira, better known as The Louvin Brothers. Mason, Ohio resident Brian Steege was the film’s photographer and director of photography. Cincinnatian Jeff Chambers is credited as a writer on the film. (Neltner also earned art director and iIlustrator credits for the production.)

Recording artists Marty Stuart, George Jones, Alison Kraus, John McCrea, and Emmylou Harris appear and share their experiences with Charlie and how he influenced their lives and musical careers.
Wikipedia reported The Louvin Brothers helped popularize close harmony, a genre of country music. In addition, country-rock pioneers The Byrds recorded the Louvin-penned "The Christian Life" for their 1968 release Sweetheart of the Rodeo.
And in 2001, the Louvin Brothers were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The tribute CD Livin', Lovin', Losin': Songs of the Louvin Brothers, produced by Carl Jackson and Kathy Louvin released in 2003, won the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Country Album.
